a great movie. i thought it was better than the first two by far. yes, there were some times that the plot was confusing, but it was basically trying to figure out who was good/bad and where they were at the time (the location part, you'll understand when you see it). the last battle was absolutely amazing. there are always funny lines in the middle of an intense scene, which makes the movie incredibly enjoyable. there were times that i wanted to cry, pee-in-my-pants laugh, kill someone, and just everything that makes you absolutely captivated. you just have to see this movie!

This movie was the shiz.
i flipping loved it.
It was funny, adventorous, and a bit romantic.
Its a great way to end the triology (not saying there isn't gonna be a 4th!)
I laughed, cried a LOT, and laughed some more.
This movie was amazing and deserves any awards that are out there.
It answered the questions from the second and first movie.
Overall, this movie will always be the movie I will tell my kids and make them watch!
2 THUMBS UP FOR BLOOKY!
if i had 3 thumbs, i'd give it another =)

(Orlando Bloom fans: Try not to hate me for this review)
Plot/Setting:
Extremely cool setting. As always. I would have liked to have spent some more time in Davey Jones' Locker though. That place was trip-py. Really cool stuff.
The plot was...altogether interesting. Sometimes (in the beginning/scenes without Jack Sparrow) it lagged and kinda lost my attention. Not to mention it was confuzing as hell sometimes. I could have sworn Elizabeth and Will totally hated eachother at a few points. Not to mention i still have no idea if all the betrayal was planned or not. Less is more, sometimes, Disney.
Characters/Actors:
Kiera Knightly/Elizabeth Turner: I love Kiera. Elizabeth...grew on me in parts, then completely lost me at others. I don't know. I'm kind of iffy on her. She doesn't seem very...loyal, and ill explain that later.
Orlando Bloom/Will Turner: (I repeat, try not to hate me.) Although Mr. Bloom seems like a very nice guy, he...is horrible in these movies. He can NOT pull of piracy, blackmail, or betrayal at all. He just isn't the bad @$$ type of guy. Some scenes he's okay. He definitely does NOT shine in any romantic scenes, but he is entertaining to watch when in a more light hearted scene such as the scene with Beckett and Davey Jones. That was a good scene for him. All in all, though, I don't buy him in the romantic aspects at all (again...explaination to come)
Johnny Depp/Jack Sparrow: He completely carries this movie. I know I personally watch purely to see him in this role. He's hysterical and just brilliant. In such a huge cast, he stands out - and NOT because he's one of two people who have a clean face (*cough*orlando&kiera. Odd isn't it how they're ALWAYS clean and no one else is?). Johnny/Jack stands out because he is entertaining. Keeps the audience interested. He's totally devious and we love him for it. We actually care what happens to this so-called villian.
pointless character: The appearance of Jack's father (Keith Richards). Love Keith, so it was funny for me seeing as the man can barely form a sentence...but he was pointless.
confuzing character: Bill Turner. How come he didn't recognize or remember his son?...was that how he was in the second film?!
ROMANCE PROBLEMS!!!!!! (if you read ANY of this review, read this):
I love romance.
I love angsty romance.
Normally, an ending such as the one in this film would break my heart as it is an awful thing for lovers.
But...Elizabeth and Will are NOT a convincing couple to me!
They barely spoke throughout this film
They betrayed eachother to no end
and all the sudden they decide to get MARRIED?
Don't kid yourself.
To me, they have absolutely no chemistry. And i HATE that because otherwise, this would be such a perfect movie for me! Action, Adventure, Romance, and ANGST?! *groans* too GREAT! IF THE PAIRING WORKED! But it doesnt for me.
Okay. Call me crazy. Call me a shipper. But Jack and Elizabeth have the most chemistry out of any characters in the cast. The scene in the Pirate Council or watever, when he votes her King, the look they share! At the end she tried to kiss him again! He saved her butt! They always have this little bicker fest going on and it's totally like flirting to me.
I dunno.
I just think those two have WAY more chemistry than a Willizabeth romance.
Jalizabeth forever.
That is my one major complaint for this film.
I do not believe the Will and Elizabeth romance.
And I hate that.
I try.
Really I do.
It just does not work for me.
As an Action film: 10/10
Comedy: 7.5-8/10
Romance: 5/10. And that's only because of the sexual tension between Jack and Elizabeth. *wink* and because it could be sooooo good if the chemistry was there! *whines more*

It was amazing. theres something in it for everyone: theres adventure, amazing graphics, romance, comedy, tragedy...its all here. You have to really pay attention to it and make sure you dont get confused because some of the plot is a bit complex. The jokes are hilarious and theres a whole lot of jack (literally). I did feel some of the new characters were unnecessary. But the end was interesting and some things are left unanswered that might be explained better in a 4th movie ( if they decide to make one). All in all , it was an amazing movie and if you havent seen it yet...go see it.....now! =) I give it 10/10 stars
